Cartoon Bear Step 1:

 

Draw three circles in the order above. Make sure that the bottom circle is a slanted oval. This oval will serve as the body of the bear cartoon.

 

 

 

Cartoon Bear Step 2:

 

Draw two wedges for the feet of this funny cartoon bear. Also, add a couple of small ovals for the eyes, and draw a wedge for the bear's nose. Keep your drawing rough, because you will later have to fill in the details.

 

 

Cartoon Bear Step 3:

 

Draw two circles as the ears of the bear. Nothing special here. I just figured we would make this its own step so that you guys wouldn't get confused. It's always best to work in baby steps.

 

 

Cartoon Bear Step 4:

 

Add the curve of the spine of the bear. This curve will give you the general shape of the bear's body. From here, you can add details to it as you wish.

 

 

Cartoon Bear Step 5:

 

Draw the cartoon bear's arm as well as a circle for the tail. You have now completed the skeleton of the bear. All you have to do now is copy some of the details below to finish your cartoon bear sketch.
